PSA: Status of the Podcast
So you might be wondering what is going on with the podcast? Well I'll give you the scoop. You see, ever since the holidays, things have really picked up around here, jobs, school, careers, life in general. We have not had the proper time to dedicate to creating good unique content for the podcast. So, we made it to 50 episodes, a huge feat for any podcaster since many podcasts barely reach 10. We are not sure when we can get back into our groove of doing the podcast again, considering it has been a few months since episode 50. The show is not canceled by any means, we love doing the show for you guys but unfortunately the time lately has not been there for us.
Unlike most other shows, we think of doing this podcast as a hobby, and not a job. We have not had to worry about sponsors, or making sure we're hitting our monthly quota to keep people happy. We have always run commercial free and frankly we have not made a dime doing this podcast. We do it for free, just like everything else we do for the wargaming community.
So we do hope you understand our situation, we would love to tackle it again soon. We deeply apologize to all our fans, we rather spin out quality over quantity.
In the mean time we have had more time to focus on our main priority the Miniatures Wargaming Union. We have free open forums that have lots of experienced players as well as new commers alike. Feel free to join our community, rather, we insist.
If you would like to support the podcast and the MWU website as a whole, please donate. You can donate here. Even the smallest amount helps and all donors will be credited on the forums as a supporter.
We thank every single one of you for your constant support over the years, we really do look forward to what the future brings.

Drop Pod Cast Update
So you may be wondering to yourself why the hell episode 48 is not out yet? Well, I have answers! With a weird week we we’re going through, Chris also going away on a short trip, did not give us the opportunity to actually record the episode and get it released which brings me to my second statement.
This is something we have thought long and hard over, as much as we love doing the show, it gets hard for us to get together and record an episode due to many factors. Now doing the show is a hobby for us, not a job, we do not make a dime of recording the show, no sponsors to worry about, but we do treat it seriously. As you know with hobbies (or else you wouldn’t be on a Warhammer site) they take time and effort, our free time gets less all the time.
Instead of doing our show bi-weeky, we have decided to move monthly. This gives us more time to work on better content with the freedom of giving us time to do the other things we love (excluding our day jobs). Since we are going monthly this means a few changes to the show, firstly we will run the show longer (roughly 1.5 hours) to make up instead of two- one hour shows a month. Secondly, with the fantastic response we’re getting for the user segments, we will run two of them per an episode. Lastly a rather big change is the welcoming of a new feature to the show, we are turing (what used to be a full podcast of its own) the Forge into it’s own segment. Instead of the feature length show, Tim and Justin are going to be doing a mini show within the DPC, it will run for 10-20 minutes depending on content, it is still to be determined if this will run every episode or not, regardless it is an interesting feature.
I will be out of town starting Sunday and will be gone for a week, so as of episode 48, it will be the start of our monthly shows. Episode 48 will be released at the end of August and episode 49 will be out most likely end of September/ first week of October and we’ll keep a constant flow from there. I hope you guys do understand and we thank you for all the support you have given us.
